Embrace the winter season by joining us for our second SledFest at Palmer Park! Participate in one of our sledding competitions, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, roast s’mores, or sled for fun. Prizes will be given in each age group for longest slide and best decorated sled! 

This event is FREE for all ages! 

Participants must preregister for this event. Please register by Friday, Feb. 3. Registration is available at https://rec.porthuron.org/ViewCourseActivityDetails.aspx?id=C871 or in person at the Palmer Park Recreation Center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

If there is no snow on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 a make up date is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023 at noon. 

We encourage you to bring your own sleds, snow tubes and skates, but limited quantities are available to borrow from SportPort. This event is weather permitting. Participants must register for this event.

Please wear clothing for cold/snowy conditions.
