About the program:

Friends of the St. Clair River has adopted the beloved Pine Grove Park gardens from the Blue Water Garden Club as part of our ongoing efforts to preserve and restore pollinator habitats while maintaining the beautiful gardens Pine Grove Park is known for.

We need volunteers to help incorporate native plants and sustainable gardening practices to support wildlife and pollinator habitat. Gardens that incorporate native plants benefit pollinators, wildlife, and water quality.

Join us to clean up the gardens, plant flowers, and maintain the plantings. No experience needed; bring your favorite gardening gloves and tools if you have them! Meet us in the Pine Grove Park parking lot at the Blue Star Memorial in downtown Port Huron along the St. Clair River.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. All tools are provided. For more info or additional volunteer opportunities, email brooke@scriver.org.
