PERFORMING ARTS
ELEMENTARY THEATRE WORKSHOP
This one week long program will consist of various musical theatre aspects. Students will receive a role on the first day and then begin working on a script. They will learn choreography, vocal technique and acting skills. Final performance will be on Friday, July 10 at 6 pm. Instructed by McKale Jude Bingham McKale holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater and is a working professional in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.
MIDDLE SCHOOL THEATRE WORKSHOP
This program is designed for 6th, 7th and 8th graders who have had some theatre experience or are looking for an opportunity to break into this art. Roles and scripts will be given out the first day. Students will receive a role the first day and then begin working on a script. They will learn vocal technique and acting skills. Instruction by theatre professional, Kellie Parkinson and assistant Jen Brown. Final performance will be on Friday, July 24 at 6 pm.
HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE INTENSIVE
Looking for one last opportunity before school starts to have fun with your friends and do a little theatre? Back for a second year, Kirk brings his talents from Chicago to pass along to high school students who want to hone their craft and challenge themselves in this week-long class.
FANCY FAIRY FESTIVAL - SUMMER DANCE CAMP
Your dancer will flutter along to the “Fairy Forest Festival” as a ballerina fairy in this twinkling ballet camp! Dancers will focus on ballet basics and creative movement as well as imaginative activities. This fanciful camp is full of fairy dancing, forest friends, glittery crafts, and so much more! Camp ends with a final short performance on the last day. Instructor Michelle Stuckey.
SPARKLE UNICORN PARTY - SUMMER DANCE CAMP
Dancers will prance like unicorns while learning ballet and jazz basics. Dancers make their own horn and get a unicorn name, and play a new unicorn game everyday. We will also read about Uni, the unicorn who believes in little girls! Camp ends with a final short performance on the last day. Instructor Michelle Stuckey.
