This class is open to ages 6-17 interested in learning the basics of Irish dancing. Dancers will be taught by Shannon Irish Dance Academy and will learn soft shoe, including how to reel, light jig, slip jig and single jig.

The Academy is registered through An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG) and offers a complete curriculum developed by certified Irish dance instructors (TCRG). All dancers will receive a traditional and authentic Irish Dance experience with introductions to Irish music, history, and language (Irish). Additionally, classes specialize in safe, effective, and informed dance practices.

Shannon Irish Dance Academy believes anyone can learn Irish dance regardless of age or level and as such, offer classes for students ages three years to adults and everyone in between.
