
CAMP PALMER
Registration Opens on April 6, 2026 for returning Camp Palmer families. New families who have not attended may register starting April 13, 2026.

Our state-licensed day camp runs ten weeks in the summer. Activities include swimming, field trips, arts and crafts, outdoor play, organized games, theatre arts, sports and more!
Campers must attend a minimum of three days per week.

HOW TO REGISTER
Registration is available only in-person at the Palmer Park Recreation Center.

Registration for returning families opens at 8 a.m. on April 6, 2026.
Registration for new families opens at 8 a.m. on April 13, 2026.

The registration fee is due when you register and holds your spot until Camp Palmer begins. Payments for Camp palmer will begin at a later date closer to Camp.

The Palmer Park Recreation Center is located at 2829 Armour St. in Port Huron.
Swimming
Campers cool off at Sanborn pool twice a week for 7 weeks each summer. All swimming is supervised by certified lifeguards and Day Camp counselors.
Arts & Crafts
Campers explore their artsy side with weekly arts and craft activities.
CAMP ACTIVITIES
Field Trips
Camp Palmer goes on local, fun field trips each summer. Previous trips include: Bowling at Port Huron Lanes, The Escape Room at Foundry, Sperry’s Moviehouse, Pine River Nature Center, 4-H fair in Goodells, Flames Gymnastics and ice skating at Glacier Point.
Theatre & Arts
Campers exercise their creativity by developing characters, costumes, and sets for a play or skit each summer.
Outdoor Play
Campers spend the majority of their day outside at Palmer Park. Park features include: Gaga Ball Pit, Super Slide, Playground Climber, Swings, Sprout City Tike Track, Basketball Court and green space to explore.

Organized Games
Games are carefully chosen and planned for weekly opportunities to exercise leadership skills as well as problem solving and teamwork.
