Mondays-Fridays: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Located at Palmer Park, Sprout City is one-of-kind. The park features a miniature city encouraging children to use their imagination and creativity when playing. Children can exercise their imagination with the park’s creative touches, such as the dinosaur bones at the bottom of the sandpit, painting easels and an ADA accessible community garden.

 

Toys, trikes and scooters are available to borrow inside the Palmer Park Recreation Center. The front desk will be able to assist borrowers. 

 

Sprout City is seasonal and closes in the fall. It reopens in late spring. 


Sprout City is recommended for ages 3 to 12.

Sprout City Rules

  • Please bring and wear a helmet when riding a trike, bike or scooter.

  • Children three or older may borrow a trike.

  • Children eight or older may borrow a scooter.

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Police station

  • Shaded sandbox
