About the Event

Visit Lakeside Cemetery for a tour highlighting the final resting places of Port Huron's most prominent citizens. New this year, we are honoring historical figures who helped to shape the United States of America to celebrate United States of America's 250th anniversary. Please meet at the chapel in Lakeside Cemetery to begin the tour. 


The Lakeside Cemetery History Tour is brought to us by the St. Clair County Genealogy & History Society.


Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026 at 11 a.m.. Registration is recommended but not required, with donations accepted for St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Registration is also available in person at the Palmer Park Recreation Center on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:25 p.m.


Lakeside Cemetery is located at 3663 10th Ave. in Port Huron, Michigan. On-site parking is available.
