About the Event
Join us for a one-mile walk on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6 p.m. in downtown Port Huron to walk in the Rotary International Parade. View the map of the route here.Â
Please meet at space A29 by 6 p.m. on Pine Grove Ave.. This location is near the Eye Care Center of Port Huron by Ontario St. and south of Lincoln Ave.. Â We will be on site starting at 5 p.m..
We highly suggest arriving early to find parking, due to the limited amount of parking. Free parking is available on all side streets in Port Huron, at Pine Grove Park and the Thomas Edison Parkway.
The Military St. Bridge will be closed in preparation for the parade; however, the Erie St./7th St. Bridge is open.
If you prefer to walk on your own day and time, or in case of inclement weather, simply send us a photo as proof of your walk at https://bit.ly/walk-mi. Â We will not walk in inclement weather. To be credited for a walk that has been canceled, please walk on your own day and time.
All walks are themed. Walkers who attend group walks will have a chance to win the themed basket each week.
Complete at least five routes to receive a FREE T-shirt. Pre-registration is encouraged, but day of registration is available starting at 5:30 p.m. Participants must register for this event. Registration is available here or at the Palmer Park Recreation Center located at 2829 Armour St. in Por Huron.
