About the program:

Friends of the St. Clair River has adopted the beloved Pine Grove Park gardens from the Blue Water Garden Club as part of our ongoing efforts to preserve and restore pollinator habitats while maintaining the beautiful gardens Pine Grove Park is known for.

Learn how to attract butterflies and other pollinators with native plants and sustainable gardening for use in your garden. Join Friends of the St. Clair River for drop-in workdays to help maintain and transform the Pine Grove Park gardens into beautiful flower beds that double as certified monarch way stations. These workdays include info on how to support wildlife, pollinator habitat and water quality.

WEEKLY WORKDAYS: Every other Thursday starting June 6 until Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon
No registration is required for weekly workdays.

Meet us at the Blue Star Memorial near the Pine Grove Park parking lot. No experience needed; bring your favorite gardening gloves and tools if you have them, or borrow ours.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more info or additional volunteer opportunities, email brooke@scriver.org.
