Free Rockin’ The Rivers concerts are ready to rock the St. Clair River starting Thursday, Aug. 1 at Kiefer Park in downtown Port Huron.
For several years, Port Huron Parks and Recreation’s Rockin’ The Rivers summer concerts have been providing free music for the blue water community to enjoy, bringing old and new sounds alive on stage.
The 2024 performances this season include:
- Aug. 1 - The Family Tradition Band; country and rock. Foster and Lewis to open.
- Aug. 8 - Dave Bennett Quartet; hard driving swing, rockabilly, jazz, pop, gospel and original songs. Branden Pavlov to open.
- Aug. 15 - Magic Bus; '60s hits. Stephen Michael to open.
- Aug. 22 - The Groove Council featuring Kathleen Murrary; funk, classic soul, horn-driven R&B, Motown. Paul Shonk to open.
Opening music acts are performing at 6 p.m. and headlining bands will follow performing at 7 p.m..
Tickets are not required to enter the premise. All concerts are free of charge and open to all ages. Individuals attending the concerts may bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. A beverage tent, backyard games, such as corn hole, and food vendors and will be available.

All concerts are at Kiefer Park, within full view of the Blue Water Bridge. Kiefer Park is located on Merchant St. in downtown Port Huron near the City of Port Huron Municipal Office Center at 100 McMorran Blvd.. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved into the McMorran Place Arena at 701 McMorran Blvd..
The Recreation Department is selling 2024 Rockin' T-shirts! Look for our tent to purchase one. Sizes will be available in adult small through 3XL. Shirts are $20 each. Please bring cash, as we do not have a credit card reader on -site.
