Port Huron Forestry to distribute free wood and mulch

Following a successful distribution day in mid-October, the City of Port Huron Forestry Division is holding a second wood and mulch distribution day on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Forestry warehouse.

Wood and mulch pick-up will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Wood distribution is available to those with a trailer and mulch distribution is available to those with a trailer or pickup truck. Both wood and mulch distribution is limited to one load per person.

Commercial entities and contractors are excluded from this event. This program is offered as a source reduction event with the goal of assisting our community by providing free mulch and wood. Residents outside of the City limits are welcome to attend.
