Designed for students with little to experience playing drums, this one-day clinic introduces rhythm fundamentals, stick technique, counting, and beginner drum line warm-ups. Students will practice on drum pads, creating a focused and controlled learning environment. The clinic concludes with a mini performance for parents so participants can showcase what they’ve learned.

Session I:
Harvey Community Center
Tuesday, June 30
1-3:30 p.m. and mini performance at 3:45 p.m.

Session II:
Palmer Park Recreation Center
Monday, Aug. 10
9-11:30 a.m. and mini performance at 11:45 a.m.

Practice pads and drumsticks will be provided for students who need them. The clinic will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Please dress appropriately for summer conditions and bring a water bottle.
