About the program:

Explore the St. Clair River shoreline and wetlands with Friends of the St. Clair River. Learn how this unique landscape has been transformed from industrial wasteland to thriving wetlands. Dig into the freshwater ponds and hunt for aquatic wildlife such as insects, snails, and clams that tell us the water is clean. All tools and materials are provided.

Please meet at the pavilion at Wetlands County Park, by the St. Clair River, at the south end of the Blue Water River Walk. Parking is available at the Bean Dock near the south end of the River Walk.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is brought to us by Friends of the St. Clair River. For more information, contact melissa@scriver.org.
