Sign up for summer programs today at the Palmer Park Rec Center on Armour St!

Port Huron Rec's summer season is catching momentum as it kicks off soon, bringing fun, learning, new adventures and creative programming for all ages! 


Registration for our summer programs starts the second week in May!


We have exciting programs returning such as Intro to Rock Climbing, Jr. Recreators, Beginner Jazz, Sporties For Shorties, Walk Michigan and more! For a complete list of all Port Huron Rec programs, please visit www.porthuronrec.com/programsandevents. Physical copies of our guide are also available at the Palmer Park Recreation Center and at select locations around town.


When to register...

• City of Port Huron residents: Thursday, May 7 at 8 a.m.

• Township partners and nonresidents: Friday, May 8 at 8 a.m.

• Port Huron Township

• Kimball Township

• Clyde Township

• Burtchville Township


Residents of these townships pay the City of Port Huron resident rate for programs thanks to a partnership between the City of Port Huron and these townships.

New this summer, Fort Gratiot Township is not a participating partner township. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact their township's leadership regarding their future participation as a township partner with the City of Port Huron. For individuals looking to register, registration is available in person at the Recreation Center at 2829 Armour St. in Port Huron, online at or by mail. Parents/legal guardians must register for children under the age of 18.

Participants, wishing to register online for our programs, must reset their password to access their new account. For family accounts, please access your account with the oldest family member’s email listed on the account. Primary account holders have defaulted to the oldest person listed in the account.


The Recreation Department can assist customers by phone if they wish to switch over the primary account holder to another family member/email listed on the account. To do this, please call us at 810.984.9709.



The Port Huron Recreation Department provides a safe, fun, and active recreation and learning environment for adults and youth.
