Rockin' The Rivers is back at Kiefer Park with free music and family fun in downtown Port Huron for one night

Port Huron Recreation’s Rockin’ The Rivers is returning to Kiefer Park for a one-day, music extravaganza on Aug. 27 in downtown Port Huron where community members and visitors may enjoy a summer night filled with free music from Michigan bands.

For 17 years, Rockin’ The Rivers summer concerts have been providing entertainment for all ages, bringing old and new sounds alive on stage by the shores of the St. Clair River. For 2026, these new and old sounds are featured through three concerts, with live music beginning at 5 p.m. and concluding at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The 2026 performances include...

-COAST (opener) at 5 p.m., acoustic pop rock duo with a reggae twist

-The Groove Council featuring Kathleen Murray at 6 p.m., funk, classic soul, horn-driven R&B and Motown

-Global Village at 8:30 p.m., high-energy party rock, funk and soul

Tickets are not required to enter the premises. All concerts are free of charge and open to all ages. Individuals attending the concerts are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on for a comfortable experience.

Kiefer Park is located on Merchant St. in downtown Port Huron near the City of Port Huron Municipal Office Center at 100 McMorran Blvd. In case of inclement weather, Rockin’ The Rivers will relocate to the McMorran Place Arena at 701 McMorran Blvd.
